On May 29, 2019, Rainbow Rehabilitation Centers hosted a very special event at our Oakland Treatment Center in Farmington, MI to celebrate 25 years of Pediatric Excellence at Rainbow!
In 1994, Rainbow developed its first specialized program for the care of children and adolescents with brain injuries. Under the leadership of Dr. Mariann Young, Director of Pediatric and Young Adult Services, Rainbow has operated its pediatric rehabilitation program in our Oakland Treatment Center in Farmington, Genesee Treatment Center in Genesee County, and in several pediatric residential locations specifically for children and young adults.
This event was attended by external referral sources, the Mayor of Farmington, directors of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce, Rainbow directors and managers and many other friends of Rainbow.
Guests enjoyed a guided tour through the Oakland Treatment Center and the neighboring Young Adult Vocational Center, a food truck lunch, desserts, raffle prizes and shopping at our pop-up vocational program boutique!
Rainbow is honored to be able to serve our pediatric and young adult clients, and we are committed to inspiring our clients to realize their greatest potential for many years to come!
